Josef Ramirez

Josef Ramirez joined Nebraska Athletics as a Facilities Associate in September 2025. Ramirez is responsible for set up and tear down for events and gamedays in Memorial Stadium.

Prior to the Huskers, Ramirez served as a Manager for Wichita Hoops from 2021-2024. He oversaw facility operations for local, regional and national events and tournaments. Ramirez helped with the set up and tear down for events as well as took inventory and lead the concession stands. 

Ramirez also had experience on the event staff at Wichita State from 2017-18. In this role, he would assist with parking operations for men's and women's basketball games, lead media shuttle for the 2018 first and second rounds of the Men's NCAA Basketball Tournament and scanned tickets for various sporting events on campus. 

A native of Wellington, Kansas, Josef earned his bachelor's degree in sport management from Wichita State with a minor in general business.
