Heather Barager

Heather Barager (formerly Strope) joined the Nebraska Athletic Department in June of 2015. She has been at UNL since August 2012, where she worked in the main accounting and payroll office, until moving to the athletic department in June 2015.

Barager is the director of business operations, where she handles employee expense vouchers, purchase requisitions/purchase orders, P-Cards, travel request checks and travel cards.

A native of Lincoln, Barager graduated from UNL in 2008 with a degree in business administration.

Heather married Justin Barager in August of 2020 and they live in Gretna with their golden retriever, Jack, mini goldendoodle, Lucy, and bernedoodle, Bailey. Heather loves attending any Husker event and enjoys staying active
