Heather Barager (formerly Strope) joined the Nebraska Athletic Department in June of 2015. She began her time at UNL in August of 2012 working in the main Accounting and Payroll offices.
Barager is the Director of Business Operations, where she oversees the payment of invoices, purchase orders, employee expense vouchers, Purchasing Cards and Group Travel Cards. She is also the go-to person for uploading student athlete and staff expense cards for team travel.
Heather and her husband Justin live in Gretna with their daughter Brooklyn and son Max. They also have two dogs, mini goldendoodle Lucy and mini bernedoodle Bailey. When time allows, she loves attending any Husker event!
