Dominic Dutton joined Nebraska Athletics as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for Husker Football in February 2026.
Prior to the Huskers, Dutton served as the Head Football Athletic Trainer at Marist University from July 2024 until January 2026. He led all rehabilitation, emergency care, healthcare administration and direct care with the football program. Dutton also assisted with the strength and conditioning staff for football and covered women's water polo during the spring season. He acted as Head Strength Coach for Marist ACHA Men's Ice Hockey.
Dutton served the Ohio State University as a professional intern with the football strength and conditioning staff during the 2024 National Championship season and assisted with coaching and exercise prescription.
Currently enrolled in the Master's of Applied Physiology and Kinesiology program at the University of Florida, Dutton is set to graduate in December 2026. He earned his bachelor's degree in athletic training from Marist University in 2024.
While at Marist, Dutton was a member of the football team, serving as team caption his senior year.
Dutton is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) and nationally registered EMT.
