A member of the <?xml:namespace prefix="st1" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?>Nebraska athletic medicine staff, Derek Clark was hired as an assistant athletic trainer for reconditioning in June 2000. Clark joined the NU athletic department as a graduate assistant in 1998 and worked with football and wrestling during his first two years. In his current position, Clark primarily works with football, managing the reconditioning of injured athletes.<?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>
He earned a master’s degree in educational administration from Nebraska in 2000 after receiving bachelor’s degrees in athletic sports medicine and health and physical education with an emphasis in sports medicine from EdinboroUniversity in December 1997. Clark served as a student trainer for four years and played football at Edinboro.
