Dakota Haberland served as a Nebraska football recruiting assistant for one season in 2023. In his role, Haberland assisted with all aspects of NU's player personnel and recruiting departments, including helping the coaching staff identify, evaluate and recruit top-level talent from across the nation.
Haberland came to Nebraska after working as a student assistant in Florida State's player personnel and recruiting departments during the 2021 and 2022 seasons. With the Seminoles, Haberland assisted with the day-to-day recruiting operations of the program. He helped Florida State land top-20 recruiting classes both seasons.
Haberland also served an internship with the Jacksonville Sharks of the National Arena League in 2021. With the Sharks, Haberland managed the team's roster, scouted free agents and analyzed opponent game film.
Haberland earned his bachelor's degree in sport management from Florida State in 2021 and his master's degree in sport management in 2022.
