Courtney Helom

Courtney Helom spent one season as Nebraska's director of football recruiting operations in 2023.

 
Helom came to Lincoln after serving as the director of on-campus recruiting at Houston for one season. With the Cougars, Helom was responsible for a variety of recruiting duties, including the planning and direction of official and unofficial visits.

Previously, Helom spent the 2021 season as the coordinator of recruiting operations at Texas. Her efforts helped the Longhorns sign the No. 5 recruiting class in the country in 2022. Helom also spent nearly two years as a football recruiting assistant at Kentucky, where she assisted with the planning and execution of all official visits and oversaw the direction of weekly mailers to top prospects.

Helom earned her degree in exercise science, sport and fitness administration/management from Alabama in 2019. With the Crimson Tide, Helom served on the football student recruitment team and was also a strength and conditioning intern.
