Cole Gerke spent three seasons at Nebraska from 2021-2023. He was promoted to director of football video technology in 2023 after serving the previous two seasons as a video assistant. In his role, Gerke directs all aspects of the planning and execution of the football program’s video and technology needs.
Gerke came to Nebraska after an internship with the Seattle Seahawks during the 2020 season. Previously, he interned as a producer with NFL Films.
Gerke earned his bachelor’s degree in digital communications art from Oregon State. As a student, he was the technologies manager and lead editor for the Beaver football team.
