Claire Anderson returned to Nebraska Athletics as an Academic Specialist in January 2026 after spending 2025 as an Academic Counselor at the University of Wyoming, working with the football team.
Anderson previously served the Huskers as an assistant academic counselor from October 2022 until March 2025.
In her role, she managed daily operations of the tutor program and assisted with other duties as assigned by the department. She primarily worked with the Nebraska men’s basketball team.
A native of Omaha, Neb., Anderson graduated from Nebraska in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in actuarial science, minoring in statistics and mathematics. She is currently pursuing her Master's of Arts in education administration with a focus in higher education. During her undergrad studies, she worked for a non-profit organization, running mission trips across the United States.
