Christian Ellsworth spent one season as an offensive analyst at Nebraska in 2023. He played a key role in the passing game by working primarily with the tight ends and quarterbacks.
Ellsworth spent the 2022 season as an offensive graduate assistant at South Carolina. Working under Satterfield, Ellsworth helped the Gamecocks end the regular season with a No. 20 ranking. In the final two games of the regular season, South Carolina combined for 94 points and 1,008 yards of offense in victories over No. 5 Tennessee and No. 7 Clemson.
Ellsworth spent the 2020 and 2021 seasons as an offensive graduate assistant at Kansas State. In his final season, several Wildcats had impressive individual seasons. Running back Deuce Vaughn ranked fourth nationally with 22 total touchdowns, and he was sixth in all-purpose yards and ninth in rushing yards. Quarterback Skylar Thompson ranked eighth in the country in completion percentage and 12th in passing efficiency.
Ellsworth was a quarterback at Northern Iowa from 2016 to 2019. A Grand Island native, Ellsworth ended his prep career with several Nebraska high school records. As a standout for Grand Island Northwest High School, Ellsworth set Nebraska Class B records for career total offense, season completions and game completions.
Ellsworth earned his degree in digital media leadership from UNI in 2019 and his master’s degree in academic advising from Kansas State in 2022. He and his wife Cassidy have a daughter, Ada.
