Carson Schlautman joined Nebraska Athletics as an academic assistant in July of 2022. He was an assistant academic counselor from July of 2023 until MAy 2025.
In his role, Schlautman worked alongside both learning specialists and academic counselors, taking on the roles of advising and mentorship of student-athletes, managing daily operations of the tutor program, and assisting with other duties as assigned by the department.
A native of Lincoln, Schlautman graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University with degrees in Exercise Science (B.S.) and Psychology (B.S.) in 2022. Schlautman is set to earn his Master of Arts in Educational Administration with a specialization in Higher Education from Nebraska in May of 2024.
