Candy Jimenez-Caballero joined the Life Skills department in the spring of 2021 as the graduate assistant. She is currently in her final year of a one and a half-year master’s program in Nebraska’s College of Business, where she will earn a Master of Arts in business with a specialization in intercollegiate athletic administration (MAIAA) in December of 2021.
Jimenez-Caballero assists with various aspects of the Life Skills department including, community outreach and personal development events, major four-year tiered programming (Networking Night, Career Fair, etc) and promoting a social media presence for the Life Skills program. She also works with individual student-athletes from women’s gymnastics, cross country, track and field and wrestling.
Jimenez-Caballero is a Nebraska native from Columbus, Neb. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in December of 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies and a Bachelor’s in Social Work. She resides in Lincoln with her dog, Crosby.
