Caleb Hawley serves the Nebraska Athletic Department as Director of Academic Advising and Eligibility. Hawley provides academic support for Nebraska's football program, coordinates the transcript evaluation process, serves as a liaison to the Office of the Registrar, Office of Admissions and campus advising community. Hawley also serves as an athletic representative to the UNL Advising Coordinating Board and Advising Leaders Council.
Hawley joined the Nebraska Athletic Department in 2010 as an academic assistant before working as an assistant academic counselor, interim academic counselor and academic counselor before taking on his current role in 2026.
Hawley earned his master's degree in higher education administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2012. He is a graduate of Oregon State University, where he earned his bachelor's degree in public relations.
Prior to joining the Nebraska academic staff, Hawley worked in athletic communications and social media marketing.
A native of Battle Creek, Neb., Hawley and his wife, Amanda, reside in Waverly with their daughter, Nora.
