Brynn Johnson joined Nebraska Athletics as an assistant athletic trainer working with the football program in May of 2024.
Prior to the Huskers, Johnson served as a seasonal athletic trainer with the Kansas City Chiefs, the 2024 Super Bowl Champions, for the 2023-24 season. In 2022-23, Johnson worked as a seasonal intern athletic trainer with the Detroit Lions. She also served as an athletic trainer at Harvard University, working with men's and women's water polo (2021-22). From 2020-21, Johnson worked as a certified athletic trainer for Marlin ISD, providing athletic medicine care, injury prevention and rehabilitation to all interscholastic sports for middle and high school students. She had a stint with the Los Angeles Rams as a summer intern (2019).
Johnson earned her master's degree in athletic training from Baylor University in 2020. While at Baylor, she served as a graduate assistant with the football and acro and tumbling teams.
In 2017, Johnson earned her bachelor's degree in exercise science from Florida Atlantic University. She spent four years working as a student intern with the athletic training department for FAU football.
Brynn has one dog, Maverick.
