Brynn Johnson is in her third season as an associate athletic trainer working with the Husker football program in 2026.
Before joining Nebraska Athletics, she previously served as a seasonal athletic trainer in the NFL for two years with the Kansas City Chiefs for the 2023-24 season and the Detroit Lions for the 2022-23 season
Brynn served as a certified athletic trainer at Harvard University in 2021-22, working with men’s and women’s water polo. Brynn began her certified experience as an athletic trainer for Marlin ISD in central Texas, providing athletic medicine care for the district’s middle and high school athletes. Prior to her certification she completed a summer internship with the Los Angeles Rams (2019).
Brynn earned her master’s degree in athletic training from Baylor University in 2020 following her bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Florida Atlantic University in 2017, where she was a student intern with the football team from 2014-17.
