Bri Garcia joined the Husker soccer team in the spring of 2013 as a volunteer coach after completing a successful career as a student-athlete at Penn State.
During her career from 2008 to 2012, the Nittany Lions won five straight Big Ten Conference titles and Garcia helped PSU make a run to the 2012 College Cup.
Garcia also spent time in the United States National Team program, as she competed on various teams from 2003 to 2008.
During her playing career, Garcia earned coaching experience in the United States Olympic Development Program, at the club level and at Penn State summer camps.
Garcia graduated from Penn State in December of 2012 with her degree in communication science and disorders. She is originally from Babylon, N.Y., where she attended St. Anthony's High School and was a two-time NSCAA All-American.
