Brent Meyer

Brent Meyer served as a Senior Associate Athletic Director during his time at Nebraska. With the Huskers, he oversaw the capital planning and construction, facilities and event management and operations departments.

Meyer came to Nerbaska after serving as the Senior Associate Athletic Director/CFO at Washington State. Meyer was responsible for all business operations within WSU Athletics, including budget development, implementation and reporting as well as oversight of non-sport contracts and department audits. He also represented the athletic department on fiscal issues throughout campus and with all external agencies, such as the NCAA and Pac-12 Conference.

Before Washington State, Meyer spent eight years at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where he served on the senior leadership team as the Executive Associate Athletic Director/CFO. Previously, Meyer worked in the private sector, including serving as vice president for finance at Goosehead Insurance in Dallas and a stint at the KPMG accounting firm.

Meyer earned his bachelor's degree from Kansas in May of 2023 and is a licenses Certified Public Accountant.
