Andrew Buettner

Andrew Buettner returned to Nebraska Athletics as the Director of Partnership Development for Huskers Athletic Partners in October of 2023. In October 2025, Buettner was promoted to Associate General Manager/Partnership Development.

Buettner joins the Huskers after spending seven seasons with the Arizona Cardinals in Corporate Business Development (Partnerships and Premium Hospitality). He was with the Cardinals from 2012-15 and 2021-23.

Prior to his second stint with the Cardinals, Buettner worked in Corporate Business Development at the Arizona Diamondbacks for three seasons (2017-19). 

Buettner previously worked with Nebraska Athletics in Corporate Partnerships for Huskers Sports Marketing (IMG) for two seasons in 2015-17. 

A native of North Platte, Neb., Andrew graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2012 with a degree in marketing and a minor in communications.

Andrew and his wife, Mikaela, reside in Lincoln with their son, Anson, and three dogs.
