Alexis Marlar joined Nebraska Athletics as an Assistant Academic Counselor in August 2026. Marlar provides academic support, advising and mentorship to student-athletes. She also assists with the daily operations of the tutor program and supports other academic initiatives assigned by the department.
Marlar began her career with the Huskers as a content tutor in August 2025 before transitioning to an academic assistant position in June 2026 and then to her current role.
A native of Lincoln, Nebraska, Marlar graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in May 2026 with a bachelor of science in human development and family science. She is pursuing a master of science in child, youth and family studies and is expected to graduate in May 2027.
