2009-10 (Senior)
Wofford put together his third straight winning season in 2009-10, ending his Husker career with a 12-4 record in his senior campaign.
After not placing at the Kaufman-Brand Open with a 2-2 record, Wofford rebounded to claim third-place finishes at the Fort Hays State Open and Dana Open. During that stretch, he won recorded a 10-2 mark and lost both matches by decision. He pinned his lone opponent of the season at the Dana Open, winning by fall over Grand View's Tyler Wilson in 6 minutes, 26 seconds.
2008-09 (Junior)
Regular Season
Wofford wrestled to a 15-4 record during the 2008-09 season, including two dual appearances for the Huskers. He claimed a 15-3 major decison over Chattanooga's Kyle McKee to help Nebraska post a 29-15 dual win on Nov. 20, and followed with a 3-2 showing to place fourth in the elite division of the Kaufman-Brand Open on Nov. 22. Wofford also earned a 13-7 decision over Augustana's Mitch Lunning, as Nebraska rolled to a 50-0 dual victory over the Vikings on Nov. 28.
Wofford placed in the top three in three open tournaments to wrap up his season. He went 4-0 at the Fort Hays State Open on Dec. 6 with a technicall fall and three pins to advance to the final, where he placed second with a default to a fellow Husker. Wofford earned another second place at the Dana Open on Jan. 3, courtesy of a 2-1 record. He ended with a 4-2 record and third-place finish at the Brand Open on Jan. 17.
Wofford posted career highs in pins (3), technical falls (3) and major decisions (3).
2007-08 (Sophomore)
Regular Season
Wofford went 9-5 at 184 pounds, wrestling in three open tournaments and one dual. Wofford made his dual memorable with a 13-4 major decision win over Alex Iacocca to help NU hold off Lehigh on Nov. 16. Wrestling at 197 pounds, Wofford gave up an early takedown, but scored 10 points in the second and third period, including two late nearfalls, to earn the victory. Wofford placed fourth at the Bob Smith Open on Dec. 1, and ended the season with a second-place effort at the Brand Open on Jan. 19.
2006-07 (Freshman)
Big 12 Championships
Wofford went 0-2 in his first career trip to the Big 12 Championships. He lost to Josh Hinton of Oklahoma, 4-3, before being eliminated in a 9-4 loss to Oklahoma State's Jack Jensen.
Regular Season
Wofford finished the season with a 13-17 record after a 12-5 start. He won his first two career dual matches, including an 8-7 upset of ninth-ranked Steve Borja of Virginia Tech on Nov. 24. Wofford followed with a pin of Rich DiPietro of Maryland. Wofford stretched his winning streak to four matches with a pair of early wins at the Las Vegas Invitational, before back-to-back losses knocked him out of the placing rounds.
2005-06 (Redshirt)
Regular Season
Wofford earned four top-three finishes during a 24-7 redshirt season at NU. He closed with a pair of open championships.
Before Nebraska
Wofford was the Dave Shultz Award winner for the state of Nebraska after a pair of undefeated state championship seasons at Aurora High School for Coach Bill Wofford. Levi led Aurora to four Class B state runner-up finishes with four career top-five finishes. Named a senior national All- American, Wofford finished third at the Brute adidas nationals and eighth at the senior nationals.
Personal
The son of Bill and Shelly Wofford, Levi was born in Grand Island, Neb., on April 4, 1986. Levi has four sisters, Debbie, Kylie, Katie and Kendal. Wofford is a communication studies major.
