2020 (Sophomore)
Adnerys De Jesus became a consistent all-arounder for the Huskers in 2020, competing on every event in all but one meet. De Jesus posted career-highs on vault (9.95), beam (9.85) and floor (9.90). She also finished with a 39.450 in the all-around against Michigan State - the highest of her career. De Jesus earned First-Team All-Big Ten honors for her efforts in the gym. Additionally, she was named to the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team for her service and leadership in the community. 

2019 (Freshman)
De Jesus was a huge stand out in the freshman class for the 2019 season, competing in every meet primarily on vault, uneven bars and floor exercise, with her stand out event being vault. She was named Second Team All-Big Ten, as well as being named Big Ten Co-Freshman of the Week after her performance against Michigan. She owns a career high on vault with a 9.925 she set against Michigan on Feb. 3, which was also featured on SportsCenter Top 10, on uneven bars she holds a high of 9.90 she set at the Masters Classic and on floor exercise a high of 9.85 she set at the Denver quadrangular. She took home one event title on vault against Illinois with a score of 9.90. She was also named to the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team for 2019.

Before Nebraska

De Jesus trained at Darien YMCA Gymnastics out of Greenwich, Conn. A level 10 gymnast, De Jesus lead her high school team to win three consecutive conference and state championships. She was also New England Champion in 2016 and 2018. De Jesus has earned Connecticut’s Hearst Media Gymnastics MVP two consecutive years as well as being nominated for Athlete of the Year in 2016 and 2018.

Personal

De Jesus is the daughter of Rhaiza and Nathaniel Torres and was born June 4, 2000. She has a sister, Andrea. De Jesus said, "I chose Nebraska because I wanted to be a part of a community where their student-athletes not only excel out on the field but also in the classroom."
