2017 (Redshirt)
Alexa Clark redshirted in 2017. She worked hard to add depth to the lineups on all four events, but did not see action in a meet.
Clark got off to an excellent start in the classroom and the community, as she was named to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall semester and the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in 2017.
Before Nebraska
Clark wrapped up a successful club career as a four-time Level 10 regional qualifier before joining the Nebraska program. She trained at Colorado Gymnastics Institute in Aurora, Colo., for coaches Vinicio Leira, Lindy Franzini and Sonia Leira. In 2016, Clark won Colorado state titles on balance beam, floor exercise and in the all-around. She placed second on the vault and third in the all-around at the 2015 Colorado State Championships. Clark chose Nebraska over Washington and Central Michigan.
