2014 (Redshirt Freshman)
Competed in 15 matches in her redshirt freshman season in 2014 • Notched a career-high four kills twice, at Michigan State on Oct. 10 and at Rutgers on Oct. 31 • Posted a season-high 3 blocks at Michigan State on Oct. 10 • Contributed 13 kills, one ace, one dig and 10 blocks on the season • Named Academic All-Big Ten. 

2014 Sand Season
Went 6-8 overall, including 2-2 with Mary Pollmiller, 0-1 with Alicia Ostrander, 3-4 with Amber Rolfzen and 1-1 with Melanie Keil.

Kira (pronounced KEER-uh) Larson redshirted the 2013 season.

High School
Ranked as the No. 23 player in the country by PrepVolleyball.com and was selected as a Senior Ace out of Fargo North High School in Fargo, N.D. • Posted 558 kills, 108 aces, 137 blocks and 394 digs as a senior, taking the Spartans to the Class A conference semifinals • Was named the USA Today North Dakota Volleyball Player of the Year • Earned Volleyball Magazine Fab 50 honors in 2012 • Named the 2012 North Dakota High School Volleyball Gatorade Player of the Year • Named a 2012-13 AVCA Under Armour Second-Team All-American • Recorded 554 kills, 123 blocks, 247 digs and 81 aces as a junior • Was tabbed as a first-team all-conference and all-state selection in 2012 • Was selected for the 2012 U.S. Women’s Junior A2 Volleyball Program roster • Earned honorable-mention All-America accolades in 2011 from PrepVolleyball.com • A multi-sport athlete, set the state record in the high jump and was a four-time state champion in the event • Was part of a state championship basketball team.
