2012: Senior
A unanimous All-Big Ten pick, Gina Mancuso also earned 2012 AVCA Second-Team All-America honors • Captured first-team All-Mideast Region honors • Claimed the Senior CLASS Award winner for volleyball • Named first-team CoSIDA Academic All-American and Academic All-Big Ten • Posted 377 total kills on the season and an average of 3.43 kills per set, while ranking 10th in the Big Ten in kills • Recorded 11 double-doubles on the year and posted at least 10 kills in 25 matches, including a season-high 20 kills three times in 2012 • Hit .300 or better in 11 of the Huskers’ 20 Big Ten contests • Ranked 10th in the conference in service aces with an average of 0.28 per set • Led Nebraska in kills against Notre Dame, recorded 15 against UCLA, along with 16 digs, and notched 10 kills against Saint Louis • Tallied a .412 hitting percentage against Colgate, recording seven kills on 17 swings and posted six digs • Came on strong for the Huskers against Duquesne and Kentucky with a team-high 15 kills against the Dukes and a team-high 17 kills against the Wildcats • Posted hitting percentages of .375 and .400, respectively in those matches • Led the Husker offense against Iowa State with 18 kills on 47 swings, along with 16 digs and three blocks • Led Nebraska against Penn State, recording 12 kills and 11 digs • Recorded 10 kills on 23 swings (.304) and nine digs against Ohio State • Led Nebraska against Michigan State with 12 kills on 25 swings for a .400 hitting percentage • Posted 12 kills and 16 digs against the Wolverines on Sept. 30 • Led NU with 14 kills and 10 digs against both Purdue and Indiana • Notched three aces and eight kills against Wisconsin, while she led the Husker offense against Minnesota, posting 14 kills (.343) and recorded two service aces • Notched 12 kills and a .300 hitting percentage against Iowa • Led Nebraska in kills against Penn State, tallying 16 in the match • Posted a season-high 20 kills matches at Michigan State and Michigan • Led Nebraska with 20 kills and 12 digs against Purdue, notching a .333 hitting percentage • Led the Huskers against Minnesota, posting 18 kills • Recorded 13 kills against both Iowa and Northwestern, helping the Huskers to two wins • Led the Huskers with 12 kills in their first-round NCAA match with UMES • Had 14 kills in the Regional Semifinal with Washington • Recorded 16 kills in the Huskers’ final match of the season against Oregon.

2011: Junior
Mancuso earned first-team AVCA All-America honors after leading the Huskers with 3.60 kills per set, 2.66 digs per set and 0.54 blocks per set • Was a key asset in helping the Huskers earn their first Big Ten championship • Named a second-team All-American by Volleyball Magazine • Earned AVCA first-team All-Mideast Region honors • Named a second-team CoSIDA Academic All-District VII selection • Was named to the Ameritas Players Challenge and the MCM Elegante Lobo Classic all-tournament team • Also earned academic All-Big Ten honors • Was a unanimous first-team All-Big Ten pick • Led the Huskers in kills, totaling 407 on the year • Ranked in the top 10 in the Big Ten Conference for total kills during the entire season • Named the Big Ten Player-of-the-Week after leading the Huskers to back-to-back wins over Penn State and Ohio State and then again for helping Nebraska post wins over Iowa and top-ranked Illinois • Notched at least 10 kills in 27 matches during 2011 • Posted a career-high 25 kills against Kansas State • Recorded a double-double against Penn State with 22 kills and 10 digs, also tying her career-high mark for attacks • Recorded a double-double with 15 kills and 14 digs, adding five blocks and two aces to help the Huskers take down Illinois, NU’s first win over a No. 1-ranked opponent since 1990 • Recorded 13 double-doubles on the year • Posted a career-high 19 digs against Purdue on Oct. 7 • Notched a hitting percentage of .400 or better on five occasions, including a .500 hitting percentage against Weber State on Sept. 10 • Hit over .300 for the first four matches of the season • Finished with three service aces against Iowa State on Sept. 17 • Completed the season ranked eighth in the Big Ten in kills (3.60) and ninth in points (4.08) • Led the Huskers in attacks, points, kills and aces in 2011.

2010: Sophomore
Mancuso provided depth at outside hitter in 22 matches with five starts • Averaged 1.79 kills and 0.15 aces per set, while hitting .250 • Saw action in all three of Nebraska’s NCAA Tournament matches • Had five kills on seven swings (.714) in one set of action against Sacred Heart to open postseason play • Tied her career high in total blocks with four and put away an ace at Baylor on Nov. 24 • Took 18 swings, dug 10 balls and added two blocks while playing two sets against Kansas State on Nov. 10 • Started against Texas A&M at home on Oct. 9, producing eight kills on 16 swings (.438), one ace and 10 digs • Tied a career high for attacks with 21 in a home start against Colorado on Sept. 18 • Earned her first start of the season against Idaho State on Sept. 4 at the BYU Nike Invitational, where she tied her career high in kills with 10 on 19 swings (.368) • Set a career high in attacks with 21 at Creighton on Aug. 31.

2009: Freshman
Mancuso played in 32 of 33 contests • Averaged 1.58 digs and 0.28 service aces per set to rank fourth in the Big 12 in aces while leading all conference rookies in that category • Reached double figures in digs in three matches and had multiple service aces nine times while playing extensively in the back row • Totaled a kill, an ace and seven digs in a sweep of No. 5 Iowa State on Dec. 11 • Recorded three kills and a pair of service aces in a sweep of No. 20 Northern Iowa on Dec. 5 • Finished the regular season with five digs and a pair of service aces against Colorado on Nov. 28 • Totaled three kills and added four digs at Kansas on Nov. 21 • Collected a pair of aces and six digs in a sweep of Texas A&M on Nov. 11 • Totaled three aces and added seven digs in NU’s sweep of Missouri on Nov. 4 • Established a career high with 16 digs against No. 14 Iowa State on Oct. 21 • Totaled two aces and seven digs in a loss at No. 2 Texas on Oct. 30 • Drilled a season-high four service aces and added five digs in a sweep of K-State on Oct. 10 • Tied her season best with 13 digs in a five-set win at Oklahoma on Sept. 30 • Had a pair of kills, a service ace and eight digs in NU’s sweep of Colorado on Sept. 19 • Totaled five kills and six digs against BYU on Sept. 11 • Had eight kills on .312 hitting and matched her season best with four blocks against Tulane on Sept. 5 • Started at outside hitter three times, including a season-high 10 kills and eight digs against UL-Lafayette on Sept. 4 • Made her first start against No. 11 Minnesota, totaling nine kills, 13 digs and four blocks against the Golden Gophers.

High School
Mancuso was one of the nation’s top outside hitters playing for Coach JJ Toczek at Papillion-LaVista High School • Named the 2008 Gatorade National Player of the Year, becoming the first-ever high school athlete from Nebraska to earn Gatorade National Player-of-the-Year accolades • Tabbed as National Player of the Year by Volleyball Magazine and the AVCA • Selected to play in the Under Armour/AVCA High School All-America game • Was a three-time first-team all-state performer who finished second on Nebraska’s all-time high school list (2,371 kills) and set the Class A career mark in digs (1,320) • Tabbed for Volleyball Magazine’s Fab 50 after leading PLHS to a 41-1 record and a state title in 2008, totaling 721 kills on .452 hitting, 373 digs, 53 blocks and 39 service aces • Captained the all-state teams by the Lincoln Journal Star and Omaha World-Herald • Topped the state in kills in each of her final three years, including 669 kills while adding 418 digs and 76 blocks to lead PLHS to a state crown • Drilled 32 kills in the championship match against Grand Island • Earned first-team all-state honors in 2006 with a state-best 568 kills • Was a member of the U.S. Junior National Team in 2008, leading Team USA with nine kills in the gold medal match at the 2008 NORCECA Continental Women’s Junior Championships • Played club volleyball for Coach Gwen Egbert and the Nebraska Juniors, winning a pair of Junior Olympic titles (2007-09) • Named the MVP of the 18-and-under Division in 2009 and was a two-time All-American • Selected as the Nebraska High School Athlete of the Year by both state papers, as she played basketball and ran track • Earned second-team All-Class A honors in basketball in 2009, averaging 15.7 points and 5.5 rebounds per game • Carried a 4.0 GPA and ranked eighth in her graduating class • Has an athletic background as her father (Mike) was a quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers, while her older sister (Dani) was a starter on NU’s 2006 NCAA title team and played professionally after graduation.
