1996-97 (Senior)
One of the top volleyball players in Nebraska history, Lisa Reitsma was a contributor to Nebraska's run to a second straight NCAA Tournament appearance on the basketball court in her only year with the Huskers as a senior in 1998-99. Reitsma, a 6-4 center from Sanborn, Iowa, chose to join the basketball team as a fifth-year senior after completing her eligibility as a two-time All-American with the Husker volleyball team.
In her only basketball season at NU, Reitsma played in all 33 games for the Huskers with four starts. She averaged 3.2 points and 3.6 rebounds per game while leading the Huskers with 34 blocked shots on the season. She shot a stellar 58.2 percent (46-79) from the field, while also contributing 12 assists and 14 steals on the season.
