Before Nebraska
• Joined the Huskers from Gothenburg High School in Gothenburg, Nebraska 
• Was named an Under Armour Third-Team All-American
• As a senior at Gothenburg, was a Lincoln Journal Star first-team Super-State pick for the second time after recording 409 kills, 64 solo blocks, 203 digs, 25 aces and a .359 hitting percentage, despite missing four matches with an injury
• As a junior, amassed 369 kills and hit .350 for the Swedes and was a Lincoln Journal Star first-team Super-State pick, helping Gothenburg to a 27-5 record
• Played club volleyball for Nebraska ONE
• Was a standout track and field athlete, winning 11 total state medals in her high school career
• Won five state track and field gold medals, including three in the long jump and two in the triple jump
• Competed in the track and field Junior Olympics
