Brenna Lyles played in 32 matches as a freshman • Posted a career-high 15 digs against Northwestern on Nov. 2 • Added 10 digs against Michigan on Nov. 16 and 11 digs at Texas on Sept. 22 • Notched 77 digs on the season and 15 aces, for an average of 0.13 aces per set • Tallied three aces against Ohio State on Oct 25.

Lyles joins the Huskers from Wimberley High School in Wimberley, Texas • Was named to the all-tournament team at the 2013 USA Junior National Championships • Selected for the 2012 U.S. Women’s Junior National A2 Volleyball Team • Earned a spot on the 2012-13 All-Texas Team • Earned All-Texas team honors in 2012 • Named 2012 first-team all-district, team MVP and district MVP • Was a two-time team captain on her high school team • Named the 2011 District 26-3A Most Valuable Player • Also earned all-district honors in 2011 • Selected for the Lonestar Volleyball 2011-12 All-Texas Team • Wimberley High School record holder for single-season digs • Named the District 26-3A Defensive Player of the Year in 2010 • Also earned first-team all-district honors as a sophomore and was a state finalist • Was a state finalist in 2009 and was also named an AAU All-American • Played for the Austin Performance club team.
