2010 (Sophomore)
Matt Schilling ran the 800 meters at four meets during the indoor season... bettered his previous best of 1:59.28 by over four seconds at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational with a time of 1:55.00... continued to focus on the 800 during the outdoor season at five meets... posted a season best of 1:57.41 at the Kansas Relays.

2009 (Redshirt Freshman)
Schilling focused on the 600 yards during the indoor season, starting with a time of 1:14.75 at the adidas Classic... ran an oversized time of 1:13.67 at the ISU Classic... ran a personal best of 1:14.21 at the Nebraska Tune-Up... cleared 1:58.18 outdoors in the 800 meters at the Nebraska Invitational... cut nearly one more second at the end of the year with a time of 1:57.44 at the Nebraska Quad.

2008 (Freshman)
Schilling redshirted his first year at Nebraska to adjust to the competitive Big 12 Conference... competed unattached in three meets during the indoor season, finishing runner-up in the 600 meters at the NWU Invitational with time of 1:26.04... posted a then-personal-best time of 1:59.28 in the 800 meters at the adidas Classic... lone competition of the outdoor season came in the 800 meters at the Nebraska Open.

Before Nebraska (Millard West HS)
Schilling broke his ankle during the 2006 football season and was slow to return to competition for the 2007 track season for Coach Max Kurz... only competed in the 2007 Nebraska Class A state meet on the 4x800-meter relay that finished seventh... at the 2006 state meet placed third in a career-best 1:55.59 in the 800-meter run and the lead-off legs on both the 4x400 and 4x800-meter relays that earned silver medals... as a sophomore at the 2005 state meet ran the second legs of the same relays that both placed fourth.
