2010 (Junior)
Blaise Rewaka (pronounced BLAZE Reh-WALK-uh) was slowed by a leg injury during the indoor season and ran in only four meets... posted a personal best in the 600 yards at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational with a time of 1:09.85... ran an oversized best of 1:50.69 in the 800 meters at the Bill Bergan Invitational... returned during the outdoor season to compete in six meets... ran a season-best time of 1:49.94 in the 800 meters at the Beach Invitational... competed at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships for the second straight year and finished 20th in the 800 meters.

2009 (Sophomore)
Rewaka qualified for the NCAA Midwest Regional and earned a medal at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships in 2009... focused on the 600-yard run during the indoor season... started with a fifth-place showing at the Holiday Inn Invitational... broke his previous best of 1:11.43 at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational with a first-place time of 1:11.17... ran below 1:50.00 in the 800 meters twice during the outdoor season... broke his previous best of 1:52.6 at the Nebraska Quad with a time of 1:49.66... fell one spot shy of a medal in the 800 meters at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships with a time of 1:50.72... ran the anchor leg of the fifth-place 4x400-meter relay at the conference meet... posted the sixth-best preliminary time at the regional (1:49.98)... finished eighth in the finals at 2:00.81.

2008 (Freshman)
Rewaka earned a medal at the Big 12 Indoor Championships in his first year at Nebraska, as the 800 leg of the eighth-place DMR squad (10:09.67)... recorded a personal best in the 600-yard run during the indoor season at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational (1:11.43)... finished runner-up at the adidas Classic with a then-personal-best time of 1:52.50 in the 800 meters... competed in the 800 meters at the indoor conference meet, but did not advance past the preliminaries... ran a season best of 1:52.85 in the 800 meters to finish third at the Jim Click Shootout to open the outdoor season.

Before Nebraska (Iona Prep)
Rewaka was a standout middle distance runner at Iona Prep in New Rochelle, N.Y., for Coach Jan Mitchell.... ran a career-best 1:52.6 in the 800-meter run at the 2007 Somers Joe Wynn Invitational... finished 10th in the 1,000-meter run in the 2007 New York State Indoor Championships... ran the 400-meter leg (46.9 split) on the fourth-place sprint medley relay at the 2007 Nike Outdoor Nationals in Greensboro, N.C.
