Taylor Jensen redshirted her first year at Nebraska.

Before Nebraska (UMKC/Bellevue East HS)
Jensen transferred to Nebraska after one season at the University of Missouri-Kansas City...posted a personal best and the fourth-best mark in UMKC history in the weight throw at the 2010 ISU Classic with a throw of 49-7 3/4 (15.13)... tossed an indoor personal best of 35-11 1/4 in the shot put at the Summit League Championships...tossed personal bests of 139-4 in the discus and 140-6 in the hammer throw at the Emporia State Relays... hit an outdoor personal best of 34-5 1/2 in the shot put at the Mule Relays... won the Nebraska Class A discus title at Bellevue East as a senior in 2009 with a throw of 132-5... was the first girl in school history to play football and earned a letter...member of the National Honor Society.The daughter of Joy and Robert Jensen... born Oct. 2, 1991... major is biology.
