2019-20 (Outlook)
Emma MacCallum looks to build on her freshman season in Lincoln by continuing to provide depth for a talented sophomore class. She hopes to become a contributor on Nebraska’s relay squads.

2018-19 (Freshman)
MacCallum was one of nine walk-ons to join the Huskers in 2018-19 and became the most versatile out of the group. MacCallum competed in five different events across three home duals, including the 50 free (29.58), 100 free (1:01.89), 100 fly (1:04.03), 200 free relay and 200 medley relay. Outside the pool, MacCallum claimed a spot on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall of 2018. She was also a member of the 2019 Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.

Previous
MacCallum was a Dean’s List student as a true freshman at Nebraska in 2017-18 but was not a member of the Husker swim team. As a senior at Golden High School in 2017, MacCallum competed in four events at the Colorado High School state championships. She produced her top finish in the 100 butterfly, while also competing individually in the 200 IM while contributing to Golden’s 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay teams. MacCallum also swam for the Jeffco Hurricanes in 2017. MacCallum was a first-team all-conference selection for the Golden Demons and a four-time academic letterwinner. MacCallum was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal
The daughter of Mary and Stewart MacCallum, Emma was born Oct. 24, 1998, in Golden, Colo. She has one brother, Rory. Emma is majoring in nutrition and health sciences and earned a spot on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall of 2018. She was also a member of the 2019 Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.
