Junior (2020-21)
Elizabeth Lorentz was on the roster, but did not compete during the 2021 season. She was a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and earned a spot on the Tom Osborne Citizenship team for her work in the community.

Sophomore (2019-20)
Lorentz appeared four times in both smallbore and air rifle for the Huskers as a sophomore in 2019-20. Lorentz fired a season-high smallbore score of 563 against Army West Point and posted a career-high air rifle score of 591 against Air Force, Kentucky and UTEP. Outside the range, Lorentz was a CRCA Scholastic All-American, an Academic All-Big Ten pick and received a Nebraska Silver Academic Medallion. She also was named to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall and was a member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.

Freshman (2018-19)
Lorentz saw the most match action of the three freshmen in 2018-19, appearing 11 times in both disciplines. Lorentz recorded averages of 566.09 in smallbore and 586.27 in air rifle. She fired a season-high score of 574 in smallbore in NU's first match against Kentucky. Her season high of 590 in air rifle occurred three times (Alaska, Morehead State and Akron, Akron). Lorentz earned spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in both the fall and spring semesters. She was also a member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team. 

Before Nebraska
Lorentz attended Seeley-Swan High Schol in Seeley Lake, Mont., where she was the president of the LEO’s Club and student council. Lorentz graduated as valedictorian for her class and served as a student trustee on the Missoula County School Board.

Lorentz shot for the Hellgate Civilian Shooters Club under the direction of coaches Trace Weisenburger and Chris Lorentz.

Lorentz qualified for the 2016 American Legion Three Position Air Rifle National Championships where she was one of 15 juniors invited to the Olympic Training Center. She ultimately placed third overall and third in the kneeling position. Lorentz is a three-time Montana Air Rifle State Champion. She competed at the Junior Olympics three years straight.

Personal
The Seeley Lake, Mont. native is the daughter of Chris and Jeannie Lorentz. Elizabeth was born on Nov. 22 in Seeley Lake, Mont. A software engineering major, she is a two-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and a two-time Academic All-Big Ten selection. She is a five-time Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll choice. She is also a three-time member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team. She enjoys skiing, paddleboarding, kayaking, hiking, biking and traveling in her free time.
