2022-23: Junior 
In his first season with Nebraska, Rudi Christiansen posted an 8-3 overall singles record. The majority of his play came in the fall season, where he went 7-3 and finished 5-1 in his last six fall matches. In the spring, he competed in just one match, where he defeated Shin Inoue 6-2, 6-7 (5), [10-1] in the No. 4 spot. In doubles, he went 1-4, with all matches coming in the fall.
 
Off the court, Christiansen was named to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall and the 2023 Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.

Before Nebraska
A native of Heilbronn, Germany, Rudi Christiansen spent his freshman and sophomore seasons at the University of Alabama, recording 16 singles wins and had doubles wins at the MSU Bulldog and UCF Invitationals. Before college, Christiansen had been ranked in the top-five among junior players in Germany and has wins over four top-30 ITF juniors.

The son of Katja and Detlef Christiansen, Rudi was born on July 14, 2001. He is majoring in business administration.
