Mueller is the first and only Husker to win the Big Ten Individuals Singles Championship.

2022-23: Sophomore
Calvin Mueller had his best collegiate season to date, setting a career high in singles wins (12) and doubles wins (14). In singles, Mueller finished 7-6 in spring play with a 4-2 Big Ten record. Mueller found himself all over the lineup card, lodging matches in every spot except No. 1. Mueller’s 13-7 doubles record in the spring was highlighted by impressive run in the Pacific Coast Doubles Championship in March, where partnered with William Gleason, winning their first six matches before dropping the championship match.

Off the court, Mueller was named to the 2023 Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.

2021-22: Freshman
A strong freshman campaign by Mueller, saw him reach double-digit wins after competing primarily in the No. 2 spot. On the season, he garnered 18 total wins on the year as he quickly found a spot in the lineup as a freshman. In the spring, Mueller tallied four wins, including a pair of consecutive victories against ranked-conference opponents (Illinois and Northwestern) to earn Big Ten Athlete of the Week on April 12. Alongside William Gleason in doubles play, the duo posted a perfect 4-0 record in conference play at the No. 3 slot. They were the only team to finish the spring season with an unblemished record, notching wins over Illinois, Northwestern, Purdue and Penn State.

Before Nebraska
Calvin Mueller came to Nebraska from Germany where he had an U18 top-10 German national ranking and has reached as high as No. 105 in the men's German rankings. In 2019, Calvin and his teammate reached the semifinals in the ITF Futures tournament.
