2022 (Junior)
Dylan Young competed regularly for the Huskers, helping NU to a second-place conference finish and fourth-place national finish. Young earned career-highs on rings and vault. 

Outside of the gym, Young earned Academic All-Big Ten honors and was named to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in both the fall and spring semesters. He was also named a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar. 

2021 (Sophomore)
Young was a constant contributor during the 2021 season helping the Huskers to a fourth-place finish at the NCAA Championships. Young earned his first career individual title after notching a career-high score of 13.90 on rings against Iowa. 

Outside of the gym, Young was a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and an Academic All-Big Ten selection. He was also named to the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team for his contributions in the Lincoln community. 

2020 (Freshman) 
Young competed regularly on pommel horse, rings and parallel bars before the season ended early due to the coronavirus pandemic. 

Young excelled in the classroom earning CGA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors, and two spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll.

Before Nebraska
Young competed for Gymnastics Olympica USA. In 2018, Young earned a second-place finish at the Junior Olympic National Championships on parallel bars, a third-place finish on pommel horse, and a fourth-place finish in the all-around. Young was also a two-time national team member. In 2017, Young also won the all-around title at the National Qualifier. 

Personal
The son of Randalyn and Jason Young, Dylan was born on July 10, 2000. He has one sister, Alli. A finance major,  Dylan was a two-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and a three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection. He has earned seven spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll. He was also a member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in 2021.
