Sophomore (2014-15)
Nathan Wong did not compete for the Huskers during the 2014-15 season.

Redshirt Freshman (2013-14)
Wong played in the first tournament of the season, tying for 33rd at the Columbia NCAA Regional Preview. He averaged 75.33 strokes in three rounds.

Redshirt (2012-13)
Wong redshirted during his first year with the men’s golf program.

Before Nebraska
Wong came to Nebraska with experience playing at Hamilton High School in Chandler, Ariz., alongside his twin brother Aaron. Nathan and Aaron teamed up to lead Hamilton to two state championships, while Nathan earned team MVP honors in 2010. He was named first-team all-region as a junior and honorable mention as a senior.

Wong tied for fifth at the 2012 Thunderbird Invitational, a Junior Golf Association of Arizona event. His other achievements include winning the 2010 Bradshaw Mountain Championship as well as the 2009 Desert Junior Tour at Ocotillo Golf Club and tying for second at the 2011 PING Junior Classic. In addition, Wong was named the 2006 U.S. Kids Player of the Year.

Personal
Nathan is the son of Sae and BeiBei Wong and has one sister, Britney, and one brother, Aaron. Nathan was born on April 20, 1994. He majored in advertising and public relations/broadcasting and earned his bachelor's degree from Nebraska in December of 2016. He claimed spots on the 2014 and 2015 Academic All-Big Ten team. Wong was a nine-time member of the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll and was named to the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in 2014 and 2016. In 2016, he won a prestigious Nebraska Heart and Soul Award.
