Senior (2012-13)
Neil Dufford played in three fall tournaments before competing in the final four events of the spring. He earned a pair of tie-for-20th finishes at the Fairway Club Invitational and Price's Give 'Em Five Invitational during the fall. Dufford's best finish of the season came at the Denver Desert Shootout in March, where he tied for 16th with a 1-over-par 214 total. 

Dufford finished his senior campaign with a 76.23 stroke average over 22 rounds. His best score was a 69, which he carded in the first round of the Denver Desert Shootout.

Junior (2011-12)
Dufford played in 11 of 12 tournaments for the Huskers during his junior campaign, compiling a 76.97 stroke average in 30 rounds. His stroke average ranked fourth among the Huskers. Dufford opened the season with his best career finish, a tie-for-seventh, at the Fairway Club Invitational. He recorded one subpar round, which was achieved with his 1-under-par 71 in the first round of the Denver Desert Intercollegiate.

Dufford received the Dick Spangler Scholarship for the 2011-12 season for his work on and off the golf course. He earned academic All-Big Ten honors in 2012, and he was named to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll during both semesters. He was elected President of the Nebraska Student-Athlete Advisory Committee for the 2012-13 season.

Sophomore (2010-11)
Dufford started in all seven tournaments for the Huskers during the spring season after being featured in the fall lineup two out of five times. Dufford matched his career-low round of 69 in the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate during the fall season. In the spring, Dufford recorded three top-25 finishes, including a season-best tie for 18th at the Jackrabbit Invitational. He posted a career-best 214 (-2).

At the Big 12 Championships, Dufford was in the top-10 after two rounds of play but finished in a tie for 36th. Dufford finished his sophomore campaign with a 75.57 stroke average.

Dufford starred for the Huskers in the classroom, claiming first-team academic All-Big 12 honors while earning spots on the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll in both the fall and spring semesters. He posted a perfect 4.0 GPA during the spring.

Freshman (2009-10)
Dufford competed in five tournaments in his first season with the Big Red. In the season-opening Fairway Club Invitational, Dufford recorded his first-ever top-10 finish, as he tied for 10th with a 217 total. Dufford then competed as an individual at the Kansas Invitational the following week, where he tied for 49th. Dufford earned a spot as an individual in three spring tournaments. He tied for 22nd at the Jackrabbit Invitational and scored a 69 in the second round at the 2010 Desert Shootout. Dufford finished his freshman campaign with a 75.60 stroke average over 15 rounds, the sixth most of any Husker.

Academically, Dufford earned spots on the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll in both the fall and spring semesters.

Before Nebraska
Dufford brought a wealth of national experience to the Nebraska roster, as he played in junior tournaments all over the country. At Midland Classical Academy, Dufford won back-to-back Texas 3A State Championships in 2007 and 2008.

As a junior, Dufford beat his nearest competitor at state by 10 strokes. He settled for a second-place finish as a senior in 2009. Dufford also competed on the Texas Legends Junior Tour in 2008. In six tournaments, he recorded three top-10 finishes, including two third-place showings, and totaled a 75.42 stroke average.

Personal
The son of Scott and Beth Dufford, Neil was born April 25, 1991. A Russian and global studies major at Nebraska, Dufford earned academic All-Big Ten honors in 2012 and 2013, after claiming first-team academic All-Big 12 honors in 2011. He was also a four-time member of the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll after earning four appearances on the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll. A standout in the community as well, Dufford earned a Nebraska Student-Athlete HERO Leadership Award in 2011. He was also elected President of the Nebraska Student-Athlete Advisory Committee in 2012-13.
