Freshman (2004-05)
Blackmer competed in Nebraska’s Fairway Club Invitational as an individual and tied for 24th with a 233 total. He hopes to make an impact for Nebraska during his first spring season. Blackmer served on a two-year Mormon mission after compiling impressive credentials as a junior player in Canada. Nebraska Coach Bill Spangler said Blackmer possesses excellent maturity and he expects Blackmer to push for action this spring. Blackmer competed in just one tournament in the fall while getting his game back into tournament-shape.
