Senior (1996-97)
Trent Morrison was fifth in scoring average, as he posted a 76.5 mark over five tournaments in the fall. His best finish came at the Falcon-Cross Creek, where he shot rounds of 73, 76 and 74 to tie for 19th at 223.
Junior (1995-96)
Morrison averaged 75.3 strokes per round and finished in the top 15 in three of five fall tournaments. His best finish came at the Florida Atlantic/PGA, where he tied for sixth with teammate, and fellow Aussie, Josh Madden. In the spring, Morrison had two top 10 finishes, eighth at the Southwest Missouri State Invitational and ninth at the Big Eight Championships. He averaged 77.9 shots per round.
Sophomore (1994-95)
Morrison averaged 76.3 in seven spring events, with two top 15 finishes. He finished in the top 10 in all four fall tournaments, and posted a 73.3 average for 12 rounds.
Freshman (1993-94)
In the spring, Morrison had a team-best 75.3 scoring average for 24 rounds and narrowly missed qualifying for the NCAA Championships. He tied for 12th place at the Central Regional in Oklahoma City, totaling 214 for 54 holes and missing a spot in a playoff by one shot. Morrison shared the first-round lead after firing a career-best 67 at the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club. He also finished in the top 10 in two other events, including fifth place at the Southwest Missouri State Invitational.
Personal
The son of Denis and Julie Morrison, Trent is a business administration major and earned a spot on the Phillips 66 Academic All-Big Eight Honor Roll for the third straight year in 1996 with a 3.24 GPA. In high school, he also played Australian rules football and ran cross country.
