Outlook (2025-26)
Thomas Bryson will look to challenge for playing time as a true freshman for the Huskers in 2025-26. The three-time Nebraska Class A All-State selection finished seventh at the high school state championships as a senior to help Lincoln Southeast to a third-place team finish. He was also the individual medalist in leading Southeast to an A-2 District title heading into the state tournament. Bryson added a tie for 18th at the Nebraska Junior Amateur in the summer of 2025, before competing at the Nebraska men's amateur championship. Both of his parents were four-year members of the golf teams at Nebraska in the early 2000s. His grandfather, Michael, is the current president of the Nebraska Golf Association.
Before Nebraska
Bryson won the 2022 Nebraska Class A state championship at Lincoln Southeast. He finished with a 141 (-3) over two rounds to claim the state title as a freshman for the Knights.
