Senior (1996-97)
Jacques Paiement was fourth on the team with a 75.7 average in five events in the fall. His top finish was at the Air Force Falcon-Cross Creek, where he tied for 10th at 221. Paiement's total included a fall-best two-under-par 70 in the second round.
Junior (1995-96)
Paiement averaged 77.4 shots a round in five fall tournaments, with his best finish coming at the Florida Atlantic/PGA Intercollegiate. In the spring, he finished in the top 10 in three different meets while compiling a 77.2 average for the Huskers. At the Shocker Classic, he tied teammates Steve Friesen and Josh Madden for first place at 221 by firing rounds of 78-71-72. Madden eventually won the event after a playoff. Paiement took third at the Southwest Missouri State Invite, which was shortened to 36 holes because of weather, by firing 155. His third top-10 finish came at the Waterwood Invitational, where he shot 236.
Sophomore (1994-95)
As a sophomore, Paiement had a consistent fall. He had a 74.7 stroke average and had his best finish at the Wyoming Invitational, where he tied for 10th place at 159. Paiement's season-best round was a 69 at the Vanderbilt Music City Invite. He finished 19th at the Big Eight Championships with a 232 and 82nd at the Central Regional with a 226.
Freshman (1993-94)
Paiement had NU's second-best average as a freshman at 77.5 for 32 rounds. His best finish was at the Shocker Classic, where he tied for 10th place at 159. Paiement's season-best round was a 69 at the Vanderbilt Music City Invite. He finished 19th at the Big Eight Championships with a 232 and 82nd at the Central Regional with a 226.
Personal
A political science major, Jacques is the son of Jacques and Jacynthe Paiemen. He was a member of the 1996 Phillips 66 Academic All-Big Eight Honor Roll and was a GCAA (Golf Coaches Association of America) Academic All-American with a 3.38 grade point average.
