Junior (2022-23)
In his junior season, Jeremy Sisson was a Nebraska lineup regular. He opened his season with his third career top-25 finish at the Badger Invitational (Sept. 12-13). He tied his career-best with a 68 (-4) in the first round, which helped him finish 20th. 

Sisson appeared at the William. H. Tucker Intercollegiate (Sept. 23-24), where he finished tied for 45th with a three-round score of 222 (+6). He made his third straight lineup appearance at the Purdue Fall Invitational (Oct. 10-11), where he produced a three-round score of 228 (+12) which earned him a 41st place finish. 

Sisson closed his fall on a high note at the White Sands Bahamas Invitational (Oct. 28-30), where he set a new career-best sixth place finish. His 54-hole score of nine-under 207 was also a career-best for the native of Skaneateles, N.Y. He tied his career-best round with a 68 (-4) in the second round, and golfed under par all three rounds. With his sixth place finish, he notched his first career top-10 finish. 

He closed his fall campaign with a 72.73 stroke average in 11 rounds.

He opened his spring at Big Ten Match Play in Palm Coast, Fla. (Feb. 2-4), where he led the Huskers with a 1-1-1 showing.  After he finished with a 235 (+22) at The Prestige in Palm Springs, Calif., he wrapped up his 2022-23 season with a 46th place finish at the Desert Mountain Collegiate (Mar. 4-5) in Scottsdale, Ariz. 

Sisson finished his season with a 74.24 stroke average in 17 rounds. 

Sophomore (2021-22)
Jeremy Sisson continues to make contributions to Nebraska's lineup in his second season with the Big Red in 2021-22. The sophomore from Skaneateles, N.Y., competed in six rounds for the Huskers to close the 2021 fall campaign and produced the two best tournaments of his collegiate career.

He earned a spot to travel and compete as an individual outside the Husker lineup at the Rich Harvest Farms Invitational (Oct. 2-4), and put career-best numbers with a three-round total of 214 (-2) to tie for 18th in a strong field. His performance included a career-best final-round 68 (-4) on the 7,200-yard layout at Rich Harvest Farms.

His effort in Illinois earned him a spot in the Nebraska lineup at the Quail Valley Collegiate in Vero Beach, Fla., to close the fall campaign. He opened with a 69 before matching his career best with a 68 (-4) on the 7,460-yard layout in the second round at Quail Valley. He entered the final round tied for sixth and in position to contend for the title but settled for a 77 in the final round to tie for 34th. His three-round score of 214 (-2) matched his career best.

Sisson headed into the spring season with Nebraska's best stroke average (71.33) after competing in six fall rounds. He competed in two matches at the Big Ten Match Play in Palm Coast, Fla. (Feb. 5-6), but he did not appear in stroke play competition during the spring.

Redshirt Freshman (2020-21)
Sisson was a significant contributor early in his Husker career, competing in Nebraska’s lineup through the first nine stroke-play rounds of the spring. Sisson produced his best tournament performance with a season-best three-round tournament score of 221 (74-71-76) to tie for 25th at the Git-R-Done Husker Invitational (April 17-18). Sisson’s effort on the par-71, 7,040-yard layout at Firethorn Golf Club included a season-best even-par 71 in the second round, as he played as an individual outside the Nebraska lineup.

Sisson opened his Husker career as Nebraska’s top finisher at the Lamkin San Diego Classic (March 8-10). Sisson, who redshirted in his first collegiate season at Arkansas in 2019-20, produced a three-round total of 231 (81-72-78) at the San Diego Country Club. His second-round 72 (E) was NU’s top individual round. He tied for 76th in the 20-team tournament.

Sisson’s performance in San Diego and through spring qualifying earned him the top spot in the Husker lineup at the Hoosier Collegiate (April 3-4). He helped Nebraska to a third-place finish in a solid nine-team field with a three-round total of 232 (73-80-79). He tied for 39th individually and his opening-round 73 (+2) was a key in Nebraska’s season-best round of 296.

At the Aggie Invitational (April 9-11) in Bryan, Texas, Sisson posted a three-round tournament score of 228 (79-75-74). He was Nebraska’s third individual finisher, helping the team to a seventh-place finish in a loaded 17-team field.

Sisson finished with a 76.00 stroke average through 12 spring rounds.

Redshirt (Arkansas, 2019-20)
Sisson joined the Nebraska men’s golf program after spending his freshman season at Arkansas in 2019-20. Sisson redshirted in his only year as a Razorback.

Before Nebraska
Sisson was one of the top amateur players in the country coming out of high school in Skaneateles, N.Y., in 2019. 

He was one of 64 juniors to qualify for the 2018 U.S. Junior Amateur Championship at the Baltusrol Golf Club in New Jersey. 

Sisson also placed 17th at the 2018 New York State Men’s Amateur Championship. In 2017, Sisson won the Golfweek International Junior Invitational by shooting a 5-under 135 to beat the eventual 2018 U.S. Junior Amateur Champion Michael Thorbjornsen. 

In the same year, Sisson was runner-up at the 2017 New York State Boys Junior and claimed five wins on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. 

Personal
The son of Barry and Pamela Sisson, Jeremy was born July 23, 1999, in Auburn, N.Y. Jeremy is the youngest of four children. He has two older brothers, Justin and Jordan, and one older sister, Breanna. Jeremy is majoring in Human Development and Family at Nebraska.
