Braden Grant is in his first season as a graduate manager for the Husker basketball program. Grant comes to Lincoln after playing collegiately at Wright State and Cedarville (Ohio). He spent his final two seasons at Wright State after joining the Raider program. He played four games in his final season in 2024-25, including against Kentucky in the season opener. His first season at Wright State was limited to just three games before suffering a season-ending injury. Grant began his collegiate career by playing two seasons at Cedarville University in Ohio.
Grant was a member of the NABC Honors Court in 2024 and graduated with a degree in financial services from Wright State this May. He will pursue his master’s degree in applied sciences at Nebraska. His father, Bob, was a longtime college administrator who served as Athletic Director at Wright State for 16 years.
