2019-20 (JUNIOR)
Dachon Burke Jr. (pronounced DAY-shawn) played in 29 games in his first season of competition at Nebraska, making 27 starts as the Huskers typically used a four-guard attack. He averaged 12.2 points, 3.4 rebounds per game and 1.4 steals per game, finishing second in the Big Ten in steals per game. Burke, who led NU with 17 blocked shots, was the only Big Ten player with two games with at least five steals in 2019-20.

Burke posted 19 double-figure games, including four 20-point games, to tie for the team lead in that category. Three of his 20-point efforts came in Big Ten play, including a season-high 25-point performance at Indiana. In that game, he hit four 3-pointers, including a game-tying 3-pointer with 1.0 second remaining to send the game to overtime. His other 20-point performances in conference action were a 21-point effort against Michigan State – which included 18 first-half points – and a 20-point, eight-rebound outing at Wisconsin, as he hit 10-of-14 shots from the floor against the Badgers. Burke finished in double figures in his last eight appearances, averaging 14.4 points on 42 percent shooting, including 31 percent from 3-point range and 1.8 steals per game in that span. That stretch also included his second five-steal game of the year, as he had 19 points, including three 3-pointers, in an overtime loss to Northwestern.

During non-conference action, his best week of the season came at the Cayman Islands Classic, helping the Huskers to a third-place finish by averaging 16.3 points per game on 50 percent shooting, 3.7 steals and 2.0 steals per game. He reached double figures in all three games, including a 21-point effort on 8-of-11 shooting against South Florida. In that game, Burke delivered on two 3-pointers in the final four minutes after USF cut an eight-point lead to one. He also had 14 points and five steals against George Mason and 14 points and five caroms in a win over Washington State. Burke also had 17 points and seven boards in a win over South Dakota State.
