2013-14 (Senior)
Senior guard Mike Peltz played a valuable role in the Huskers' return to the NCAA Tournament, serving as a valued member of the scout team. He played in 11 games and had nine rebounds and one point while committing just one turnover in 54 minutes of action. Peltz was a spark in the win over Florida Gulf Coast, grabbing four rebounds in a season-high 17 minutes. He also had two rebounds and an assist in nine minutes at No. 10 Michigan on Feb. 5 and played six minutes in a win over Purdue on Feb. 23. He got Senior Day vs. No. 9 Wisconsin on March 9 off to a rousing start, proposing to his girlfriend Shelby Campbell during the pregame ceremony.

2012-13 (Junior)
A late addition to the Husker basketball roster, Peltz proved to be a valuable backup before undergoing knee surgery. The 6-foot-2 guard played 14 of the Huskers' first 16 contests, averaging 2.1 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.1 points per game in over 15 minutes of action per contest. He missed the second half of the season after undergoing a patella tendon debridement on his left knee in late January of 2013.

Peltz contributed mainly during non-conference action, as he saw double-figure minutes in each of his first 11 contests and in 12 of his 14 outings, including a season-high 22 minutes against Kent State on Nov. 24. In that game, he grabbed a season-high six rebounds, one of seven games with at least two rebounds. He also played 21 minutes against USC on Dec. 3, grabbing three rebounds and dishing out two assists. Peltz's career best in assists came in the Sun Bowl Invitational on Dec. 22 when he had four assists in NU's 89-75 win over Central Michigan. He scored a season-high four points at Oregon on Dec. 15. His only appearance in Big Ten play was an eight-minute effort against Wisconsin on Jan. 6.

As a sophomore in 2011-12, Peltz averaged 7.5 points, 6.2 assists, 4.9 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game in helping WNCC to a 26-7 record and the school's first national ranking since 2005. Peltz ranked fifth nationally in the NJCAA in assists and had a 3.5 assist-to-turnover ratio running an offense which featured five players that averaged double figures. One of five players who are playing Division I basketball this season, he had 10 games with at least eight assists, including a season-best 15-assist effort against Oglala Lakota College when he also had 12 points and 10 rebounds. It was one of three triple-doubles he recorded during his junior college career. Offensively, he reached double figures seven times, including a season-high 20 points against Lake Region State College. As a freshman, he averaged 7.0 points, 2.4 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game in 29 contests. Peltz also excelled in the classroom, carrying a 3.83 GPA and had the highest GPA among male athletes at WNCC.

He earned district MVP and honorable-mention all-state honors by the Lincoln Journal Star. Peltz was also a Class B all-state selection as a junior, averaging 19 points per game, as he led Class B in scoring in both his junior and senior campaigns. A three-year starter, Peltz totaled over 1,000 career points in high school. He also played football as a wide receiver, earning all-conference honors before missing most of his senior year because of an injury. He also garnered academic all-state honors in each of his final three years at Alliance High School.
