Senior (1995-96)
Jaron Boone left Nebraska with his name scattered over the record books. He ended his Husker career as the fifth-leading scorer in NU history, just ahead of fellow 1995-96 senior Erick Strickland, with 1,609 career points. Boone's 127 career games played ranks tied for third all-time, and his 102 starts (including 91 consecutive starts to end his career) ranks fourth all-time. Boone's 443 career assists ranks third all-time and his 575 field goals made ranks fifth. He is also third all-time for three-pointers made with 181.

As a senior, Boone came one shy of his career-high 31 points with a 30-point effort in a 114-106 overtime win against Oregon. Boone and freshman Tyronn Lue, who also scored 30 points, became the first duo in Husker history to each score 30 points in the same game.

Junior (1994-95)
Tallied 559 points as a junior, the fifth-highest one-season total in school history...the Huskers' go-to man in Big Eight play, he averaged 20.8 points in 14 league contests and led the team in scoring 12 times...had a career-high 31 points in 33 minutes at Colorado...his career-high effort at Colorado was aided by a school-record-tying 83.3 percent performance (5-of-6) from 3-point range...his 13 three-point attempts at Missouri (made four) were the most ever for a Husker player in one game...scored 20 or more points 10 times last season, including eight of his last 14 outings, and 12 times in his career...named to the Ameritas Classic All-Tournament team...led the Huskers in minutes (1,043), scoring (17.5 ppg) and 3-point percentage (.385), was second in steals (40), third in assists (116), fourth in free throw percentage (.679) and fifth in blocked shots (10)...hit at least one 3-pointer in a school-record 24 straight games before being shut out against OSU in the Big Eight Tournament, and missed his last 15 3-point attempts...however, he connected on at least one trey in 29 of 32 outings...in the 19 games in which he made more than one 3-pointer, he hit 49.2 percent (61-of-124) from behind the arc, while he hit just 13.8 percent (9-of-58) in the other 13 games...his 70 treys ranked as the highest one-season total in school history, as did his 182 attempts...scored in double figures in 31 of 32 outings as a junior...dished out four or more assists 16 times, including a season-high eight against Northeastern Illinois...had at least one assist in 30 of 32 games last season and in 63 of his last 65 appearances...grabbed five or more rebounds eight times, including a career-high nine against Kansas State...was seventh in the Big Eight in scoring (17.5 ppg), eighth in assists (3.6 apg) and 10th in field goal percentage (.437)...in league games only, Boone was third in scoring (20.8 ppg), fourth in 3-point percentage (.410), fifth in field goal percentage (.458) and 10th in assists (3.2 apg)...played 30-plus minutes 25 times in 32 starts...received NU's 1994 Ironman Award and won the 1995 Jack Moore MVP honor.

Sophomore (1993-94)
Capped an impressive sophomore season by being named to the Phillips 66 Big Eight All-Tournament team after averaging 15.7 points and 4.3 rebounds in NU's title run...scored 21 points against Missouri in the semifinals...had 15 points, four rebounds and two assists in NU's title game victory over Oklahoma State...had eight points and five assists in NU's first-round NCAA Tournament loss to Pennsylvania...was named to the Big Eight's All-Improved team and was an honorable-mention All-Big Eight pick on the Kansas City Star's Players team...had a then-career-high 24 points and a season-high-tying eight assists in 35 minutes vs. Iowa State...was NU's second leading scorer in Big Eight play at 14.2 points per game, a figure which ranked 13th in the league, and hit a team-best 51 percent from the field (league's fifth-best mark), a league-high 46.2 percent of his treys and 74.4 percent of his free throws...31 of his 35 three-point goals came in NU's last 20 games, as he hit 43.7 percent (31-of-71) from beyond the arc over that stretch...was seven-for-seven from the field vs. Portland, the best shooting game for a Husker player in some five seasons...team's second-best scorer with a 12.2 average, he scored in double figures 21 times, including 12-straight games from early February through the Big Eight Tournament...led NU in 3-point percentage (.368), was second on the squad in minutes played (898) and assists (109), fourth in steals (36) and seventh in field-goal shooting (.476)...had five or more assists 11 times, including a season-high eight at Michigan State and vs. Iowa State in Lincoln...he was the only Husker to have at least one assist in every game...started 28 games, including the last 25...his regular-season scoring average (12.2 ppg) ranked 17th in the Big Eight, while he was tied for 10th in assists at 3.6 per game.

Freshman (1992-93)
Like teammates Terrance Badgett and Erick Strickland, Boone was named to the Big Eight All-Freshman squad...exploded for 14 points, one off his career high, tied his career high with five rebounds and had four steals in 22 minutes at Kansas State...dished out a Nebraska freshman single-game record nine assists against Missouri in Lincoln, which was also the most assists for an NU player on the season...handed out a Nebraska freshman season-record 87 assists...NU was 9-1 when he dished out four or more assists in a game...led team in free throw shooting at 82.1 percent...ranked second on the squad in assists (87), fourth in blocked shots (11) and steals (26), sixth in scoring (6.9 ppg)...in conference action, he scored at a 6.4 clip, hit 41.3 percent from the field and 77.8 percent from the line...NU was 7-1 when he scored in double figures...started eight of 31 appearances...NU was 12-1 when he hit better than 50 percent from the field...had three points and three assists in Nebraska's first-round NCAA Tournament loss to New Mexico State.
