Tom Best played two seasons at Nebraska after playing his first two seasons at Toledo. He led the MAC in rebounding his sophomore season before transferring to Nebraska. Best at at least 100 points and 100 rebounds in each of his two seasons in a Husker uniform, averaging 4.4 points and 4.9 rebounds per game for his career. He made 11 career starts, all in his senior season in 1993-94.
