Ray Richardson had an outstanding two-year career at Nebraska after spending his first two collegiate seasons in the junior college ranks. He scored 651 points in his career, for a 10.9 per game average. Richardson was the fourth-leading scorer for the Huskers in both his junior and senior seasons. The 6-7 forward also played the off-guard position and was third on the team in assists in 1991-92. He led the team in both his seasons in three-pointers made, connecting on 57 treys in 1990-91 and 48 in 1991-92. Richardson had career highs of 24 points and 13 rebounds in a 90-87 loss at LSU as a junior.
