2025-26 (Junior)
• Pryce Sandfort put together one of the most prolific shooting seasons in school history, starting all 35 games and averaging 18.1 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game while shooting 42 percent from 3-point range
• Ranked third nationally in 3-pointers (129) and fourth in 3-pointers per game (3.6), as his 129 3-pointers ranked second in Big Ten history
• Was fourth in 3-point percentage (.416), 10th in the Big Ten in scoring, 11th in field goal percentage (.477) and 13th in minutes per game (35.6)
• Totaled three 30-point games and 12 other games with at least 20 points after having just one 20-point game in his first two seasons
• Led NU with 21.0 ppg in three NCAA Tournament games, while shooting 57 percent from the field and from 3-point range 
• Earned South Region All-Tournament honors as he had a game-high 25 points, including 6-of-10 from 3-point range, and five rebounds vs. Iowa
• Put on a show in NU's NCAA First Round win over Troy with 23 points, including 7-of-12 from 3-point range, five rebounds and two steals
• First-team All-Big Ten performer whose 79 3-pointers in Big Ten play was one off the conference record (MSU's Shawn Respert in 1994-95) 
• Posted his third 30-point game in Big Ten play with 32 points, including five 3-pointers, along with six boards and two steals at USC

• Averaged 8.8 points per game at Iowa 2024-25 while shooting 40 perent from 3-point range
• Led NU in scoring vs. UMES with 19 points on 8-of-13 shooting along with five rebounds and a pair of assists
• Tallied 20 points on 7-of-11 shooting, including six 3-pointers, vs. FIU, including 14 points in a five-minute span to open the second half

BEFORE NEBRASKA
Sandfort spent the first two seasons of his career playing at Iowa for Coach Fran McCaffery, where he played in 65 contests for the Hawkeyes. As a sophomore in 2024-25, he averaged 8.8 points per game on nearly 49 percent shooting, including 40 percent from 3-point range and 2.9 rebounds per game. His 56 3-pointers ranked third on the team, as he had multiple 3-pointers in 18 of his 33 appearances.  Sandfort had 15 games in double figures, highlighted by a career-high 22 points, including 6-of-8 from 3-point range, against Southern. He also had 16 points apiece at both Michigan and Nebraska. In the game in Lincoln, Sandfort also grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds for his first career double-double.  He closed the year with four straight double-figure efforts, averaging 12.3 points on 57 percent shooting and 6.0 rebounds per game in that span. As a freshman, he played in 32 games off the bench averaging 2.3 points and 1.1 rebounds per game while shooting nearly 35 percent from 3-point range. He had a season-high 12 points, including a trio of 3-pointers, against Western Illinois.  

Sandfort was Iowa Mr. Basketball in 2023, as he averaged 24.9 points, 11.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 2.7 blocks and 1.7 steals per game while leading Waukee Northwest to a berth in the Class 4A State Championship game. The first-team all-state performer led Class 4A in points, blocks, field goals made, 3-pointers made, free throws made and defensive rebounds and ranked second in total rebounds as a senior for Coach Brett Watson. Sandfort led his team as a team captain to 20 victories and the state quarterfinals as a junior, averaging 26.2 ppg, 10.3 rpg, 2.8 apg and 2.9 bpg, earning first-team all-state honors. He helped Waukee High School to a state title as a sophomore and a state runner-up finish as a freshman. In all, he totaled 1,695 career points during his four-year high school career. He also played golf for two seasons in high school. Sandfort played AAU ball for D1 Minnesota’s AAU team, averaging 16.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, and two assists per game in his final season for Coach Al Harris. In the classroom, Sandfort was a three-time academic all-state pick and National Honor Society member at Waukee Northwest.
 
PERSONAL
Pryce is the son of Brian and Gretchen Sandfort. and majors in finance at Nebraska. He has one brother (Payton) and one sister (Piper). Payton played at Iowa from 2021 to 2025, earning All-Big Ten honors in is final two years at the school. His father, Brian, played basketball at Hastings College, while his mother, Gretchen, played basketball at Simpson College. Sandfort attended Coach Hoiberg's basketball camps during his tenure at Iowa State.
