After playing his freshman season at UC Irvine, Chris Cresswell transferred to Nebraska and made an immediate impact as a 3-point sharpshooter. Cresswell knocked down 103 3-pointers in his career, all while shooting nearly 40 percent from behind the arc. Cresswell's 103 3-pointers are tenth on the career NU chart, and his 59 3-pointers as a senior are just outside the single-season top 10 list. In a game against Texas A&M in the 1991-92 season, Cresswell went 7-10 from behind the arc for a career high 21 points, and his seven 3-pointers set a school record (since broken by Cary Cochran). For his career, Cresswell scored 356 points, averaging 5.5 per game.
