2021-22 (SENIOR)
- Kobe Webster made 142 appearances at the Division I level and has scored 1,821 points at the Division I level
- Played in 30 games in 2021-22 and averaged 6.2 ppg, while shooting 36 percent from 3-point range.
- Closed the year by playing some of his best basketball, averaging 7.5 ppg on 46 percent shooting, including 48 percent from 3-point range, over NU’s final six contests.
- Had eight points, including a pair of 3-pointers, in 17 minutes off the bench against Northwestern in the Big Ten Tournament
- Totaled six points and two rebounds in 29 minutes off the bench in the win over No. 10 Wisconsin
- Finished with five points and an assist in 15 minutes at No. 23 Ohio State
- Had seven points, including a pair of 3-pointers, in 15 minutes off the bench at Penn State
- Came off the bench with 13 points, including a trio of 3-pointers, in the loss at Northwestern

2020-21 (COVID SEASON)
Webster proved to be a valuable addition in his first season at Nebraska. He played in all 27 games, averaging 8.1 points and 1.3 assists per game in 2020-21. Webster led the Huskers in 3-point percentage (.380) and was second on the team with 46 3-pointers. On the year, Webster totaled double figures 12 times, including a season-high 23 points and five assists at Northwestern, which included 7-of-12 from 3-point range, and 20 points against ACC Tournament champion Georgia Tech, when he hit 7-of-9 shots from the field, including six 3-pointers.
Webster was playing some of his best basketball at the end of the season, moving into the Huskers’ starting lineup for the final five games. In that stretch, he averaged a team-high 13.0 points per game, while shooting 43 percent from 3-point range and reaching double figures four times. He played 20-or-more minutes each of NU’s final 12 games, starting with a 13-point effort at Penn State on Feb. 14 to lead NU to its first win in State College since 2013.
He opened the season with a flourish, averaging 12.2 ppg per game in NU’s first five outings. He had four double-figure efforts, highlighted by a 20-point effort against Georgia Tech in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge when he hit 7-of-9 shots from the floor, including six 3-pointers. In all, he reached double figures in five of the Huskers’ seven non-conference games. Webster got off to a slow start in Big Ten play, scoring just 26 points in his first nine conference contests, despite a 10-point performance against No. 17 Michigan State on Jan. 3 before breaking out in NU’s win over Penn State. His final performance off the bench was a 12-point effort on 5-of-9 shooting at Illinois on Feb. 25 before he moved into the lineup against Minnesota on Senior Night. He responded with 10 points, four assists and three steals in the win over the Golden Gophers. Webster supplied most of the highlights in a loss to No. 5 Iowa with 17 points, including 5-of-8 3-pointers, before his 23-point effort at Northwestern. Webster closed the year with 10 points and a pair of steals against Penn State in the Big Ten Tournament.
BEFORE NEBRASKA
Webster spent the last three seasons at Western Illinois University, scoring over 1,400 points and dishing out nearly 300 assists in 85 career starts. He led WIU in scoring and assists in each of his three seasons, earning second-team All-Summit League accolades in 2019 and 2020.
Webster started all 26 games as a junior, averaging 17.1 points, 3.6 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game in 2019-20. He ranked among the Summit League leaders in scoring (sixth), assists (fifth) and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.72-to-1, fourth) en route to garnering second-team all-conference recognition. Webster totaled a team-high 21 double-figure efforts, including six 20-point efforts. His junior campaign was highlighted by a school-record 40-point performance against Omaha, when he went 15-of-24 from the field, including five 3-pointers. In the classroom, he was selected to the 2019-20 Summit League All-Academic Team.
He emerged as one of the top guards in the Summit League as a sophomore, averaging a team-high 17.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game. A second-team all-conference pick, he was fifth in the conference in scoring, assist-to-turnover ratio (1.94-to-1) and 3-pointers per game (2.5) while shooting 41 percent from 3-point range. He had 10 20-point games, including a season-high 26 points at Northern Illinois, while he recorded a double-double at Creighton with 24 points and 10 rebounds. He also shined in the classroom, as he was a first-team CoSIDA Academic All-District V pick and was named to the 2018-19 Summit League All-Academic Team.
Webster started all 28 games as a freshman, leading the Leathernecks in scoring at 15.9 points per game while adding 3.5 assists per game to rank third in the Summit League. He shot 43 percent from the field, including 37 percent from 3-point range, and shot 78 percent from the foul line. Webster, who was named to the Summit League All-Newcomer Team and collected honorable-mention all-conference honors, reached double figures in 22 contests, including eight 20-point performances. He scored a season-high 27 points and dished out a career-high eight assists against IUPUI.
Webster previously starred at Park Tudor School in Indianapolis, helping the school to a pair of state titles in 2014 and 2015 and started his last three seasons at the school. He was a third-team all-state selection as a senior, as he averaged 16 points, four rebounds and four assists. He was invited to the Indiana's Top 60 showcase following a junior campaign when he averaged 14.5 points and 3.7 assists per game. He played his AAU ball with the Indiana Elite, winning a national championship in 2015.
PERSONAL
The son of Isaac and Nikki Webster, Kobe was born on July 31, 1999, in Indianapolis. He has one sister (Sydney). Kobe completed his master's degree in educational administration from Nebraska in May of 2022. He earned his bachelor's degree as a management major from Western Illinois in three years. At WIU, he was a two-time Summit League All-Academic Team selection and was a first-team CoSIDA Academic All-District pick in 2019 before earning third-team Academic All-America honors in 2021.
