  • Jackson Cronin walked on to the Husker program and appeared in 12 games as a true freshman, totaling seven points and a rebound in limited duty
  • Made seven of his 12 appearances in Big Ten play
  • Had a season-high five points in the loss at Iowa on Feb. 13
  • Scored his first career basket against Northwestern on Feb. 5

BEFORE NEBRASKA
Cronin played four seasons at Great Neck North High School for Coach Kevin Graham. Cronin was a two-time All-Nassau County selection, averaging more than 20 points per game as a junior and senior. He played just eight games because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but averaged 21.3 points, 8.0 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game, highlighted by a 40-point effort against Sewanhaka High School. He earned all-county accolades for the first time in 2019-20, as he averaged 21.2 ppg, 5.0 rpg and 5.3 apg. Cronin broke into the starting lineup during his sophomore campaign, averaging 11.6 ppg. He played AAU basketball for The NY Gauchos and NY adidas, and played in the Maccabi Pan American games in 2019 for the U16 USA Team, earning a gold medal.

PERSONAL
Jackson is the son of Steve and Joanna Cronin, and was born on April 22, 2003, in Great Neck, N.Y. He has one brother (Luke) and one sister (Pelle). Cronin majors in finance at Nebraska. His father (Steve) played collegiately at Tufts.
